No nails. No caps. No nonsense.
Not all seamless gutters are the same. The Rain Gutter Specialists hang every gutter on hidden hangers instead of nails, miter every corner by hand instead of capping it, and use 0.027 in. aluminum painted inside and out. Here's what each of those means for your house.

Hand-mitered corners vs. standard caps
A standard corner is a separate piece capped onto the run. It's quick and cheap for the installer, and it adds three seams, three more chances to leak, plus a bulky joint that breaks the gutter line.
Our installers cut and join each corner by hand. The result is a clean, continuous corner with fewer weak points. It takes longer. We think it's worth it, and so does the wall under it.

Hand-miteredStandard capHidden hangers, not nails
Many installers drive long nails through the face of the gutter into the fascia. You can see them from the street, they loosen over time and they make adjustments difficult.
We use aluminum Hangfast hidden gutter hangers, fastened with screws behind the gutter lip:
- Double reinforced ribs for extra strength
- Screw support that keeps gutters secure for years
- Screw fasteners, so the gutter can be removed or repositioned later without damage
- A cleaner finish: no nail heads on the gutter line

The metal itself: 0.027 in. Dura-Coat aluminum
We use premium aluminum from Interstate Metal Supply, painted inside and out with a Dura-Coat finish. California-sourced, not generic stock.
| What it means | |
|---|---|
| 0.027 in. gauge | Thicker material that resists denting and warping |
| ASTM B-209 | Meets the aluminum sheet standard |
| Dura-Coat, inside and out | Weather resistance on both faces |
| California-sourced | Local material from Interstate Metal Supply |
Quality is not cheap, and we won't pretend it is. But it's cheaper than doing the job twice.
