Gutter profiles: OG, half round, box and flat face

A gutter profile is the shape of the gutter seen from the end. The Rain Gutter Specialists install four: OG (K-style), half round, box and flat face. The right one depends on the roof, the volume of water and the style of the house.

OG gutters (Old Gothic, K-style)

The OG profile has a subtle curved, decorative face. It's a timeless favorite in Los Angeles and one of the most affordable styles. 5 in. is common; 6 in. is recommended for larger roofs or areas with heavy rainfall.

Half round gutters

Half round gutters have a smooth, curved profile that suits Spanish tile roofs and European-style architecture. They come in 6 in., carry water well and clog less, in bonderized steel, aluminum or copper.

Box gutters

Box gutters are straight and flat, made for modern architecture and commercial buildings. They come in bonderized steel, aluminum or copper, and can be coated in a wide range of colors.

Flat face gutters

Flat face gutters have clean lines and a contemporary look without giving up capacity. They're installed seamless in a standard 5 in. size, in copper or steel.
